FireWall Access For TriNetThe following are the ways to enable your computer to access our TriNet server through your firewall. If you have an active firewall on your computer or on your network, you will need port 510 opened for inbound and outbound traffic. If it is a personal firewall you can follow the steps below. If it is a work or church firewall you may need to contact your IT department and have them open the port. **Please note that we have not tested all of these solutions. McAfee1. Open the security center2. Go to the personal firewall plus icon (on the left side)3. Click options button (top right, listed under “I Want To…”)4. Click on system services icon (bottom left, under “Tools”)5. On the system services screen, click the Add button6. On the Edit Port Configuration window, give the program a description (TriNet). Add the ports for the platform in both the Incoming and Outgoing TCP/IP ports section (Port 510) |
